Puget Sound winters

Winters in the Puget Sound aren't rough like Michigan, for instance, but the dark dreary drizzle and unrelenting cold lasting as many months as they do can be emotionally crippling. I wonder--as I get older--if I'm not more prone to seasonal disorders than I originally thought. It's the only explanation that can reasonably explain the difference in how I feel about life right now--a couple weeks into spring--than I did a month ago when winter was still dragging its heels.

Spring really is all about renewal, and not just of the earth.
