I'm getting older.
That's one of the reasons for a sudden interest in healthier foods. Another is:
I adore Japanese food.
I'm tired of junk food.
The latter's inevitable. My mom raised me right, with regards to healthy eating habits, but when I got married at 18, we went nuts and threw all our healthy habits out the door, HO HO HO, we were free and making all those fun decisions for ourselves now! ...But now it's old, and I want something that tastes like something besides sugar and bland pasta from a box.
Lucky for me my husband loves the Japanese cooking style, and is hard at work expanding his repertoire. *glee*
